Who is Illumimoto? We are a boutique cinema house made up of visual artists who are dedicated to bringing the art back into traditional wedding videos. We have three main resident artist plus a pool of talented freelance artists that we trust.
NATE KRESGE: The son of a professional photographer, Nate honed his natural talent for photography and videography at an early age. After graduating from high school, Nate attended Penn State University for two years before earning his degree in Film and Video Production from Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida. In 2004, Nate started working as the chief editor and co-producer on the nationally syndicated television show “Fisher’s ATV World.” A year later, he founded GK Visual, LLC which specializes in corporate videos, political photography and campaign commercials. Nate has been frequently honored for his works including several Platinum AVA awards, AEGIS, TELLY, DAVEY, and Video Communicator awards.
SOVANNA MAM: Sovanna got his start in TV and Film when he was selected from a pool of over 1,000 national applicants for ten coveted spots in the Nickelodeon Studios Internship Program in Orlando, FL. While at Nickelodeon, he worked with the post-production department, writing and editing promos for “Keenan & Kel,” and “Mystery Files of Shelby Woo". From there, he went on to produce and direct for broadcast and corporate clients like Channel One News, MTV, TNT, The Hershey Company, and The American Cancer Society to name just a few. Sovanna is the recipient of several awards for his work, including the National Videographers Award, MCA International Golden Reel, Hermes Creative Award, MarCom Award, and a Telly.
DOUG METZ: Doug has been an award winning editor and motion graphics designer for over 10 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from The University of Akron and an Assosciate's degree in Video Production from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He started in Pittsburgh were he worked with Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, the Boy Scout's of America, and the Buhl Planetarium. In 2004, after moving to Harrisburg, he started Doug Metz Media. He has created commercials and designed motion graphics packages for many political and corporate clients.
